About Us
Every resource, made for your class.
ClassThread was built by Rachael and Tillie, two sisters who love teaching — and who know exactly what it's like to lose another evening preparing and planning resources.
The team
Rachael
Rachael has spent eight years teaching Spanish and French at secondary level, including time as a Head of Department. She's built curriculum plans from scratch at more than one school and adapted lessons for students who needed something genuinely different from the rest of the class — and found that the tools available for either job weren't good enough. Every time she moved schools, she started again from nothing, another set of evenings gone before she'd even reached the actual marking.
Tillie
Tillie is primary trained and has just completed her first ECT year. Prior to completing her PGCE, she spent five years as a teaching assistant in London, and is ELSA-trained, with a further year working as a Link Worker. That combination gave her a close, practical view of how children with additional needs actually experience a classroom — not just what the theory says should help, but what genuinely lands day to day. She's shaped ClassThread's approach to differentiation and support from that ground-level experience.
Marco
Rachael's husband Marco has spent 12 years in tech and is now a product manager for a large international tech company, and has built ClassThread from the ground up, with Rachael and Tillie both setting the bar for what it needed to do at every step.
Claudio
Tillie's husband Claudio has spent five years in tech sales, moving through account management and now customer success — experience that shaped how ClassThread is positioned, priced, and explained, and how it supports teachers once they're actually using it, not just how it's built.
What we believe
- You know your students better than any tool ever will. ClassThread is here to save you time, not replace your judgement
- A resource adapted for a student with dyslexia and a student with autism should look genuinely different — not the same generic "easy read" version for everyone
- Curriculum planning and lesson planning shouldn't be two disconnected jobs. One should build the other
Who it's for
Built for teachers across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland — including British curriculum schools overseas.
